Japanese actor who is known for his work in film, television, and stage productions. He is best recognized for his role as Teiji in the 2019 film The Earthquake Bird as well as his roles in stage productions of Changes in 2014, Atakku No. 1 in 2009, and Dance Earth: Negai in 2010.
He first started acting in 2006 and made his stage play debut in Taiyo ni Yaka rete. His television debut came in 2015 when he starred as Raiun on the TV Asahi series Kuroha: Kiso no Josei Sosa-kan.
He is known for being both the leader and performer of the Sandaime J Soul Brothers as well as the Nidaime J Soul Brothers.
He was born and raised in Inzai, Chiba Prefecture, Japan.
